Today, a commercial contract with Oracle Corporation was signed in Kragujevac, opening the first regional centre in Southeast Europe at the Data Centre in Kragujevac. By establishing the regional hub of this corporation, it creates the conditions for Oracle Corporation, from Kragujevac, to provide its services in this part of Europe and beyond.
The contract was signed in front of oracle corporation by Kenneth Johansen, vice president for cloud technologies and regional director for North and Eastern Europe, while outside the State Data Centre in Kragujevac, the contract was signed by Danilo Savic, director of Data Cloud Technologies.
The signing ceremony was attended by Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Deputy Head of Mission of the US Embassy John Ginkl, Director of the Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Administration Dr Mihailo Jovanovic and Kragujevac Mayor Nikola Dasic.
By signing this agreement, it creates a new perspective in the development of the information and communication technologies sector in Serbia, while at the same time positioning our country as a regional IT leader.
